So, it’s important to press the port door closed with strong enough force to seat it correctly for maximum water resistance. And, since water and electronics generally do not mix, getting the USB charging port wet might damage the electronics inside. Note that unless you snap the port flap securely, water may soak its USB port. Unplug the USB Charge Cable from the Speaker to Continue with How to Charge JBL Go 2ĩ. The status lamp is not glowing at all, and is highlighted. JBL Go 2 speaker, fully charged, powered OFF, but is still connected to charger power. Let the JBL Go 2 Charge Until the Red Light Goes Outįull battery charging is done when the solid red status lamp on the top front of the speaker’s grill turns off, as shown next. The the red status light, meaning that the speaker is charging. And while no battery status gauge shows percentage of charge, the red lamp means that charging is occurring. Now that we connected the JBL Go and our iClever USB adapter, we then plug the RavPower into a working AC outlet, as shown next. Plug the USB Adapter into a Functioning Wall Receptacle In this demo, as said earlier, we’re using an iClever 24 Watt USB AC adapter along with a much longer USB cable than the orange cord included with our Go 2. Next, connect the A end of the USB power cable to the power adapter. Plug the Other End of the USB Cable into your Charger Adapter A USB charging cable plugged Into this speaker. Then, plug the small end of your micro USB charge cable into the matching micro USB port, as we see in the next shot. So this adapter outputs plenty enough current to juice up these speakers, with lots of time left over. Now the Go speakers need 5 volts at roughly 0.6 amps to recharge fully in the shortest time. Then, plug the charger into a working wall receptacle. Next, connect a micro USB charge cable between the speaker and that adapter. Most any USB adapter should do though, since this speaker only requires around 2.5 watts (5 volts at 0.5 amps).
